This product is an emulsion of the extract of burdock root, echinacea root and yarrow herb in olive oil and beeswax. It is applied topically as needed. Animals sometimes lick off this product. Powdered yarrow is very bad tasting and adheres well to the Balm. It is recommended that a thin layer of Yarrow be applied to the Balm to counter licking. Apply the Balm liberally to the affected area twice daily.
