The quintessential essential oil application for cats! Almost every condition you ask me about for a feline, will contain the response of using a KittyBoost! Not only is it effective, but cats love it. This veterinary formulation carries years of clinical safety data, blood monitoring, and case studies.
KittyBoost is a fundamental item for all cats. Cats are unique to the essential oil world, and they are certainly opinionated as well. All good cat owners know, that we should definitely cater to them. They are in charge. And, if we go against what their desires are, we are certain to be shunned, not allowed to pet them, and we might not see them materialize from under the bed for weeks!
The essential oils contained within KittyBoost are specially selected for a wide variety of feline needs. Expertly blended, and properly diluted, we have had thousands of cats using similar formulas for years. In our veterinary clinic – we document safety, results, and multiple samples of blood work and urine samples. However, KittyBoost is not just for cats. It is one of my favorite blends to use personally, and many non-feline animals use KittyBoost with awesome results!

For almost any ailment your cat may present, or to help maintain health for a lifetime – KittyBoost is where it all began. KittyBoost LITE is also available and is just very slightly different than KittyBoost – the LITE version is recommended if you are just starting out with essential oils and your cat, or if you have used KittyBoost and have found it was just a bit too strong for your cat or other animal. In general, you can be assured that KittyBoost or KittyBoost LITE will be recommended for almost every cat. The main difference being if your cat has cardiac issues we will suggest CardioBoost, kidney issues UroBoost, etc. Remember, these “Body Boosts” ARE actually KittyBoost with additional oils to support a targeted body system. So CardioBoost is KittyBoost with additional cardiovascular supportive oils added. UroBoost is KittyBoost with additional urological oils added. LiverBoost is KittyBoost with additional hepatic supportive oils added… and so on.

Cats: Please make sure you have read the Application Tips fully, for a more complete understanding of the use of KittyBoost with cats. In general, drip directly from the bottle, and allow 5-8 drops to fall onto the fur from the tail of a cat, to the base of the neck. It is not necessary to part fur, or get the oil to come in direct contact with the skin. For very long haired cats, the hair may naturally part where you wish to apply, or it may be easier to part the fur slightly. This is fine, however not required. Rub, massage, or pet the oil drops along the spine. In general, we rub the fur “backwards” from tail to head – and the cats ADORE this. However, feel free to modify your technique to what your cat enjoys or requires. For some cats, you may not even rub in the oil drops – simply drip them on and call it a day.
Dogs: For the majority of dogs, we will recommend the use of AromaBoost RTU, AromaBoost LITE, Boost in a Bottle, or Boost in a Bottle LITE when you wish to have full body support or support for illness. However small puppies, dogs sensitive to oils, or smaller dogs can certainly have applications of KittyBoost or KittyBoost LITE. Even for larger dogs, if KittyBoost is what I have on hand, and they are in need of some support – then KittyBoost it is! Some dogs really do fantastic using KittyBoost alone, and can use it in a similar manner to what is recommended for cats – just with more drops. Dogs under 10 pounds can use the same number of drops as cats. Dogs 10-25 pounds can use 8-10 drops. Dogs 25-50 pounds can use 8-12 drops. And dogs over 50 pounds can use 8-18 drops. Certainly drop number is not an exact science – and more or less can be used based on the dogs response and needs. The main thing to remember is that if you are treating a dog with KittyBoost and you are not seeing enough results – please do try one of the stronger blends, geared more towards the needs of dogs.
