Our Inspiration
Bruce Wayne
Our Dark Knight, and the reason for Pug & Hound. Bruce is our teacher and inspiration. Bruce has had a long history of medical issues that have taught Krysta so much about veterinary medicine, both conventional and alternative. Bruce is also the reason Krysta decided to become a veterinary technician, and has led Krysta to all the wonderful practitioners she works alongside. Many of the products we carry at Pug & Hound have at some point been used or consumed by Bruce. Bruce is also the inspiration for Bruce’s Blend, a fresh diet formulated by Krysta, available at Pug & Hound. You can often find Bruce hanging out at the store behind the counter, eager to greet his customers.
Willy
Willy is Jeff’s first dog, and he represents the Hound of Pug & Hound. Willy has a heart of gold, and is a happy, healthy hound who loves to chase squirrels. He is the picture of health due to his fresh diet and healthy lifestyle. He is the reason Jeff got into the pet health world, and ultimately the reason Jeff met Krysta and began their life together.
Xena
Xena is Jeff & Krysta’s third dog. She is a pit/staffy mix full of love. She is a sensitive, loving soul who is kind to every being she meets. Xena has taught Krysta & Jeff a lot of about the relation between the gut and the brain due to her anxiety issues. She loves to cuddle and hunt for rabbits. Both Xena & Willy spend their days at “camp” (daycare), to keep them active during the day and well socialized.
